Arena RulesClick here to view the Arena Rules 2011/2012. Arena Directives 2011/2012The Hancock Zone is an area that extends 5 feet in from the side and back walls of an arena. The area also extends 5 feet in from the curvatures of the corners in an arena. Any attacker entering this area and making a play on the ball with a defending player in a defensive position must have the intent to make a positive play. An attacker is considered to be any player in possession of the ball. Infringement of this rule will incur a Penalty. The penalty will be awarded, by the umpire/s, in accordance with its severity, its location and effect on the game. |
