England Victorious

England have finished as convincing champions of the FIP 8 goal tournament. The closing score of their match against Belgium was 7 to 3.5. Well done to Max, Nick, Ollie and Eden!

England through to Final

The England side have beaten France in the semi-final by 10 goals to 3. They will now meet Belgium in the final on Sunday.

England Top of FIP Group

England have continued with their winning streak and have now come top in their group. They beat Switzerland by 7 goals to 4 in their opening match on Friday, followed by a victory over the Netherlands on Sunday. In their final group game England beat Italy 4-3, with two goals scored by Pepper. England will go on to play either the French or German team in a Semi-Final game.

In other FIP news, the Italian team have been knocked out of the tournament, whilst the Dutch team were defeated by the Swiss. France have beaten Austria convincingly 17 goals to 3.5.

FIP Team Selected for Hamburg

The FIP 8 Goal Championships will be held in Hamburg from Friday 5th until Sunday 14th September 2008.

The team has been selected by the HPA and is made up of: Max Routledge 2, Nick Pepper 2, Ollie Cudmore 2 and Eden Ormerod 2.

The two leagues are as follows:

The last 8 goal European Championships were held in Holland in 2005, where England finished as runners up to Italy.
