Rule Change Directive – Placement of Ball for Penalties 5a and 5b.
It has been agreed to remove the rule requiring umpires to place the ball for penalties 5a and 5b.
Players will now be allowed 15 seconds to position the ball for all penalty hits.
This will become effective as soon as clubs receive this email.
