An opportunity to spend 6 or 10 weeks sharpening up your polo skills at the La Asuncion Estancia. However it’s not just about chukkas...here you will have the chance to also learn the secrets of polo horse breeding and training whilst helping the gauchos with general stable life.
La Asuncion is a family-run business consisting of a main house, guest houses, polo grounds at the nearby Los Morrales Polo Club and all the facilities required for keeping around 50 polo ponies in breeding and training.
A Typical Day Morning: Help with the mares, foals and yearlings, exercise the horses and help with general stable work. Afternoon: Polo lessons 6 days a week, ‘stick and ball’, chukkas. NB You will play according to your skill level and take part in matches and low goal tournaments at weekends.

We offer a comprehensive polo service for polo players of all levels. The La Mariposa Polo School runs in England from May to September, and in Argentina from October to April.
