OAKLANDS POLO AND COUNTRY CLUB - POSITION VACANT FOR POLO PROFESSIONAL
Oaklands Polo and Country Club in South Africa are looking for a 2 to 4 goal player to act as their polo professional from 1st March until 30th September 2008. www.oaklands.co.za
This individual will work directly under the supervision of the Polo Club Manager (PCM) and will be responsible for the following duties:
Making and schooling of all club ponies.
Supervision of all aspects of stable management.
Care and welfare of all club ponies.
Assistance with the selection of all club ponies for purchase.
Coaching of OPCC club members.
Umpiring duties as directed by PCM.
Participation in all OPCC practice chukkas, matches and tournaments.
Representation of OPCC in all competitive tournaments as agreed with PCM.
Remuneration package will consist of:
- Return air fare (Economy Class) from country of origin.
- Basic salary ZAR 5, 000 (Approximately GBP 300/USD 600) per month.
- Accommodation and meals whilst based at OPCC.
- Vehicle provided as required.
- 75% of all tuition fees.
- Match and tournament fees as negotiated with PCM.
