The Cowdray Park Polo Test Match for The St. Regis International CupSouth Africa will meet England in a polo test match for the third annual St. Regis International Cup on the world-famous Cowdray Lawns at Midhurst, West Sussex, on Saturday 22 May 2010. The England team will be hoping to repeat their 2005 and 2006 test match victories when they beat the South Africans 14-6 and 11-9 respectively, but the visitors will be all out to turn the result in their favour knowing that some serious young talent has joined the South African ranks in recent seasons. The match will be preceded by the Final of the British Ladies Open Tournament at 12 noon. Women's polo is a fast growing sport and the Final will be the all-action culmination of a hard fought tournament. As well as top notch sporting action, Cowdray offers a stunning location for all the family to enjoy. Why not bring a picnic and enjoy everything that the stunning location and the high octane sport have to offer. As well as a children's mini funfair, there are excellent trade stands offering a range of fashion and country goodies, food outlets and bars. Entrance is just £10 per adult (under 12s free). Visitors should arrive early to stake out their vantage position in the public picnic areas or, to enjoy the action close-up, arena-side picnic sites for 8 people and two cars are available at £150 (Cowdray members £95), guaranteeing all the adrenaline you could possibly want from a sporting event. The ticket line is now open on 01730 814110.
