Junior HPA 2011Schedule and Results of 2010 League Matches Audi Pony Club and Junior HPA Championships 2010Results GANNON (Under 21 on the 1st January)a.General. There is one division of Gannon for teams of a handicap of0–5 goals.The sum of the handicap of the two highest handicap players must not add up to more than 4 goals.Matches are played off handicap. The minimum age is 16 on 1st January 2011 b.HandicapFor players of 20, 19 or 18 with handicaps of -1 or above and players of 17 and 16 with a handicap of 0 or above c.Matches. Four chukka matches under HPA rules. d.Ponies.There is no limitation on ponies.See rule 2.24 (e). PC and JHPA Rule Book e.Substitutes.HPA rules on substitution will apply, but a substitution must be agreed with the Section Manager. f. Match Tie.In the event of a tie in a match where a result is required a tie breaker will take place as follows: A ‘sudden death’ extra chukka will be played with the whole of the back line being the goal, including between the posts. All players must change ponies. Teams will change ends and the chukka will start from the middle with a ‘throw-in’. In the event of there being no goal scored at the end of the chukka, there will be a PCP ‘run down’ g.Umpire and Referee. Two HPA qualified umpires are required, and a referee. The HPA will provide one professional umpire who will be assisted by a qualified Junior HPA player.The referee should also be a Junior HPA player. h.Umpire Qualification. GAN players must have taken the HPA Umpire Test and must make themselves available to umpire.Team Managers are responsible to see that GAN players have taken the umpire test and studied the latest HPA Rule Book. i.Venues.GAN matches will take place on Junior HPA days or at PCP tournaments. The place, day and time of the matches will be organised by the HPA Tournament Director.
